Significant conversion with added value
The owners wanted to transform this 1960s three-storey house near Crawley in West Sussex, to a contemporary, light-filled house with suitable layout for their needs and sufficient space to entertain. The conversion aimed also to transform the exterior of the house in order to improve its looks, saleability and value. We developed a design that connected the existing large and beautiful garden to the inside space, with a private courtyard arrangement between the living and the entertainment area. The project used the existing building fabric of the house as much as possible to reduce cost and control budget.
