The existing building is located in a Dundee town centre conservation area, identified as ‘locally listed’ with restrict planning restriction in place. The proposed plan is to create a relationship between the existing historical building and a newly-created flexible plan with contemporary 2, 3 or 4 room apartments, all with car park and share of roof garden and a gym on the top floor.
The proposed development creates an opportunity to restore and expose the main fabric of the historical building, and to remove all conflicting additional features that had been superimposed during the life of the building.
