An award-winning transformation: Best Private House Award- 2007 Dundee Institute of Architects (DIA)
The renovation and extension of this semi-detached single-storey cottage in a conservation area was completed in collaboration with Nicoll Russell Studios. The contemporary lounge extension opens onto a courtyard (doubling the living space) and full-height glazing creating a natural relationship between the interior and the garden. The high standard of architectural design was recognised by The Institute Of Architects Dundee, who awarded the project Best Private House (2007)
